SCORM Completion Status

Modified on: 2018-07-11 15:44:31 +0200

To ensure that the completion criteria you have embedded in the module itself is accurately reflected in SmarterPath's progress tracking, we have implemented a real-time status check for SCORM-based content. Please note that in order for this feature to function correctly, completion settings must already be embedded in the e-learning module/included in the SCORM package that has been uploaded to SmarterPath.

As the participant starts the e-learning module, the "Next" button is visible and enabled. If the participant clicks the "Next" button without having finished the module then a pop-up window will appear informing the user that the module has not been completed.

As long as the path has been set up so that the steps do not have to be completed in order, the participant can still access other content in the path using the links under each milestone. Otherwise, the e-learning module's completion criteria must be met before moving on to the other steps in the path. Progress within the e-learning module itself will continue to be tracked so that if a participant has to resume his/her work at another time they'll be able to pick up where they left off.

If the last step in a path is e-learning content, then all of the above still applies. The only difference is that the "Next" button is now the "Finish Path" button.
